Privacy policy

ICleviathan Ltd.·Last updated 16 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information ICleviathan Ltd. collects through icleviathan.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can require us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Two regimes apply to us. Israeli law, the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 as amended by Amendment 13 (in force 14 August 2025), and the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017, because we are an Israeli company and the database is held here. The GDPR, because we market to European customers, act as the authorised agent for iST across Europe, and represent a Greek design house, which is enough to engage Article 3(2).

1. Who is responsible for your information

Controller of the database

We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer at our size, and we have not appointed one. The mailbox above reaches the person who is responsible.

2. Giving us your information is voluntary

You are under no legal obligation to give us any personal information. Nothing on this website requires you to identify yourself in order to read it. If you choose not to fill in the contact form, the only consequence is that we cannot answer you. There is no other effect, and the whole site remains fully usable. You can reach us instead at Iris@icleviathan.com or +972 52 725 0175.

This is stated again directly above the submit button on the contact form, where the decision is actually made.

3. What we collect

The contact form. Six fields, and nothing else: your name, your company, your email address, your telephone number, which kind of organisation you are, and the message you write. There are no hidden fields capturing your IP address, referrer, browser or anything similar.

Email and telephone. If you write or call us directly, we hold whatever you choose to tell us.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. Since Amendment 13, an online identifier such as an IP address is expressly personal information under Israeli law, so we treat those logs accordingly. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Website analytics. At the time of writing this site runs no analytics at all. See the cookie table below.

Your choice on the cookie panel. If we ever ask you about analytics, your answer is stored in your own browser. It never leaves your device and it does not identify you.

4. Why we collect it, and on what legal basis

To answer your enquiry, understand your requirements, quote, and manage the resulting relationship
GDPR Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering a contract. Where no contract is in prospect, Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
To route your enquiry to the right principal
The same basis. See section 5, where each principal is named.
To keep the site secure and available
GDPR Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in running a site that works and is not abused.
Analytics, if we ever enable it
GDPR Article 6(1)(a), your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the Cookie settings control in the footer of every page.

We do not use your information for any purpose beyond the ones listed here without asking you first.

5. Who else sees it

Our principals are named below rather than described as "our partners", because you are entitled to know specifically who may receive your enquiry.

  • iST · Integrated Service Technology (Hsinchu, Taiwan), where your enquiry concerns qualification, reliability, failure analysis or material analysis.
  • CoAsia SEMI (Korea), where your enquiry concerns digital IC design or turnkey SoC services.
  • NanoZeta Technologies (Athens and Larnaca), where your enquiry concerns analog, RF or mm-wave design.
  • Our IT service providers, the static hosting provider and the email provider, strictly for operating this website and delivering your message to us. The contact form is no longer relayed through a separate form service: it is delivered straight to our own mailbox.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone not listed above.

6. International transfers

We are in Israel. The European Commission's adequacy decision for Israel (2011/61/EU) remains in force, unamended and unsuspended, as confirmed by the Commission's review report of 15 January 2024, so transfers from the EEA to us require no additional safeguards.

Where an enquiry is routed onward to Taiwan (iST) or Korea (CoAsia SEMI), that transfer is necessary for the performance of, or the steps preceding, a contract with you, and is made under GDPR Article 49(1)(b). NanoZeta is inside the EU and the EEA.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Enquiries that become a customer relationship: for the life of the relationship and 7 years after it ends, which is the retention period Israeli tax and company record-keeping rules require of us. Server logs: as long as our hosting provider retains them, typically no more than 30 days.

8. How we protect it

The site is served only over HTTPS. There is no database on the website itself, no login and no user accounts. There is nothing on this site to break into. Enquiries live in an email account protected by a strong password and two-factor authentication, and access is limited to the people who need it to do the work. We hold the database definitions document and follow the organisational measures required of us by the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017.

9. Your rights under Israeli law

Under the Privacy Protection Law you may:

  • Inspect the information we hold about you (section 13).
  • Require its correction if it is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or out of date, or require its deletion (section 14).
  • Withdraw your consent to any processing that rests on consent, at any time.

Write to Iris@icleviathan.com. We respond within 30 days. If we refuse a correction request you may appeal to the Magistrates' Court in the manner the Law provides.

10. Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (Articles 15 to 22).

You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, the data protection authority of the country you live or work in, or where you believe the problem occurred.

To exercise any of these, write to Iris@icleviathan.com. We respond within one month, and we will tell you if we need longer and why.

11. Cookies, analytics and what is actually set

This website sets no cookies. It loads no fonts, scripts, images, maps or trackers from any other company when a page opens. The map on the contact page is loaded only if you press the button that loads it, and nothing else on the site makes an outside request.

We do not use Google Analytics. We do not use the Meta Pixel or the LinkedIn Insight Tag. For a five-page business website there is no reason to.

What this website stores on your device
NameTypeProviderPurposeDurationTransfer
icl-consent-v1 Local storage, not a cookie ICleviathan (first party) Remembers your answer on the cookie panel so we do not ask again. Strictly necessary. Contains no identifier. Until you clear your browser storage None, never sent anywhere
None Cookies None None are set by this website, first party or third party. None None
None Analytics None No analytics tool is installed on this website. None None

This table is updated whenever anything changes. If a row ever appears here that you did not agree to, it is a mistake, please tell us.

If we do enable analytics in future we will choose a cookieless tool that stores no personal identifier, we will name it in this table before it goes live, and a panel will appear giving Accept and Reject equal prominence in the first layer. Declining will leave the entire site fully usable. There is no cookie wall and there will not be one. The Cookie settings control in the footer of every page lets you change your mind, and withdrawing is exactly as easy as agreeing. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat that as a refusal and do not ask again.

12. We do not add you to a mailing list

Sending the contact form does not subscribe you to anything. Replying to your enquiry is not marketing and we will do that. We will not put you on a list, and we will not send you a newsletter or any other advertising material unless you have separately and expressly asked for it, which would be a separate, unticked box with its own wording, never bundled with an enquiry and never pre-ticked. This is required of us by section 30א of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, which contains no exemption for business-to-business messages.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, a new purpose, a new recipient, a new retention period. We will say so on the page rather than quietly editing it, and where you have consented to something we will ask you again rather than assume the old answer still stands.
